Mercosur Shuttle Group (MSG) is a group of three companies operating a container shipping business in the southern cone region of South America. The companies’ businesses operate primarily on the Hidrovia Waterway system, made up of the River Plate and the Paraná and Paraguay Rivers. Two of the companies, CMSP and CMSA, operate a container feeder service with tugs and barges in the Mercosur Region. A third company out of Uraguay, CMSU, provides agency services for CMSP and CMSA. The liner barge operation provides connecting carrier service for international shipping companies. The primary trade for these carriers is to and from Asunción, Paraguay through the ports of Montevideo, Uruguay and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Already the carrier of choice for many ocean shippers, MSG plans to build upon its existing customer base and expand into new operations within the region.

MSG operates a fleet of 4 tugs and 7 barges in the Mercosur Region of South America, including the Hidrovia Waterway system, made up of the River Plate, Paraná River and Paraguay River.
